This is a regional blend made from fruit sourced across Giant Steps’ five estate vineyards: Sexton, Applejack, Primavera, Tarraford and Wombat Creek. The result is a well-balanced Yarra Valley Pinot Noir that brings together freshness, structure, and bright red fruit. The 2023 vintage was cool and steady, ideal for slow ripening and flavour development.

It shows clear aromas of red cherry, cranberry and dried herbs, with a subtle earthy note. The palate is light to medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity and gentle oak influence. Made with whole berries and wild yeast, the wine is aged for 8 months in French oak (15% new), bottled unfined and unfiltered. It’s precise, clean and very drinkable, with good length and focus.
