Since its debut in 1982, Noble One has become Australia’s most iconic dessert wine, made from hand-selected Semillon affected by noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). The 2020 vintage is rich and luxurious, offering layers of apricot marmalade, candied orange peel, honey, and crème brûlée, lifted by subtle citrus zest and warm spice. The palate is opulent yet beautifully balanced, with luscious sweetness cut by refreshing acidity, leading to a long, velvety finish.
Crafted from late-harvested Semillon grapes grown in the Riverina region, the fruit is hand-picked in multiple passes and fermented in a combination of stainless steel and French oak barriques, with part of the wine matured on lees for complexity and texture. Noble One consistently rewards cellaring and remains a benchmark for botrytised wines worldwide.
