Varieties

Albariño

Grown in the heart of the Rías Baixas D.O., Valmiñor Albariño is a standout example of one of Spain’s most celebrated white grape varieties. This wine is made from 100% Albariño, sourced from vineyards in the subzone of O Rosal, near the Atlantic coast. The area’s granitic soils, combined with a mild oceanic climate, give the wine its signature freshness, aromatic intensity, and saline edge.

Bright and luminous in the glass with pale straw hues, this Albariño opens with expressive aromas of white peach, ripe pear, and citrus zest, complemented by floral notes of orange blossom and a hint of crushed seashell. On the palate, it is dry, vibrant and juicy, with a beautifully balanced structure. The acidity is crisp yet integrated, enhancing the flavors of green apple, lemon, and subtle tropical fruit, with a distinct mineral finish that speaks of its coastal terroir.

Fermented in stainless steel to preserve purity and precision, Valmiñor Albariño is a modern, fruit-driven wine that still respects its traditional roots. The grapes are hand-harvested, and only the free-run juice is used, ensuring elegance and clarity in every sip.

This wine is an ideal companion to seafood, fresh cheeses, and light Mediterranean cuisine, but it also shines on its own as a refreshing aperitif. It is a perfect expression of what makes Albariño from Rías Baixas so unique: the intersection of ocean influence, old-world winemaking, and vibrant aromatic expression.
