Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. A nose full of spice and pepper sees dark cherry and liquorice fruits meld into dried clove, meaty characters and smoky oak. Beautifully refined, expressive and very supple in its feel, the medium bodied palate is layered with spicy dark plum, dark cherry and liquorice fruit subtlety infused with clove over a background of vanillin cedar, smoked meats and pepper. Velvet smooth yet structural tannins are backed by balanced fresh acidity. Outstanding power with a long savoury aftertaste.
